Description
Palouse Falls in the southeast part of Washington is a fascinating place. The story of its geology and formation is an interesting one in the development of North America. During the Pleistocene Epoch, the immense floods that occurred with the breaking up of the ice dams that formed Missoula Lake sculpted the land into its present form. The waterfall drops approximately 200 feet.
