Artist's Description
This empty house is one of many found on the prairies of Western Canada at Parkbeg, Saskatchewan. The echoes of numerous memories and dreams must live within its empty rooms.
About Vivian Christopher
I have always enjoyed art in its many forms. Up until about fifteen years ago, my main passion was for creating art through textiles - I love to quilt. I have often joked that I took up photography in self-defense (my husband is an avid photographer) but that is not really true as I do enjoy making images. The past few years have taken my husband and me to many different places in the world and the sights that we have seen and photographed have been very humbling. What a wonderous world we have and I hope that through my images, I enable others to see and maybe even feel a tiny bit of that wonderous world.

the wind blowing the grass reminds me of a recent lighthouse attempt of mine. yours captures the true feeling, though.
Vivian Christopher replied:
Hi Tim. Thank you for the comments. I wanted the desolation of the abandoned farmhouse to prevail and was pleased when the treatment I used worked the way I wanted it to.
